In a situation of low interest rates and largely “regulated” inflation, it is important for individuals in particular to carefully asses their long term financial planning and savings strategy. Clearly, CPI inflation will not remain low in the medium term and the biggest threat to savings is inflation. Therefore, savers should think carefully about their overall savings and investment portfolio. Historically, the long term average inflation rate in Pakistan has been near 8% p.a. at the same time in the last 10 years, investment in shares of listed companies has provided an average return of more than 20% p.a. however returns have varied year to year.

It is a great honor and pleasure to be working in Pakistan. It has been an interesting discovery for me, both personally and professionally. Most of all, I wish for Pakistan to make the full use of its amazing economic potential and achieve a swift rise to the ranks of dynamic emerging market economies.

Pakistan is a great country and a great nation. We have a lot to offer for the existing massed and generations to come. I believe we have just begun to scratch the surface of our potential, and all around us we have examples of our citizens winning Oscars or Nobel Prizes. Pakistanis have the sheer talent to compete at an international level. I think we need to remain focused on our goals as a nation. Specifically, for the business community, there is lot to do. If we all play our cards right and put in the hard work, we can see Pakistan having a very bright future.

Young Pakistanis are intelligent; more concentration on education and skill is required. We should have more tolerance in our daily life and consistency in professional life. Pakistan is country full of resources, it is dynamic place. We should target to become one of major economy of the world. We should stop short cuts but to work properly for better national interest.

Be connected with Allah and serve the fellow humans on the earth in creating economic resources for them through entrepreneurship. Entrepreneurship is “Sunnah” and a source of major earning on the planet. The educated youth should become entrepreneurs; the job givers, rather being the job seekers.

Today we do have banking facilities for marginalized communities in the country who can stand on a solid footing if we all raise the level of awareness and strive for financial inclusion. Pakistan will develop by being economically strong only when we can reach out to the maximum number of people possible!
